Who is the insurance for?
  • Landlords and real estate investors of one-to-four unit single family rental properties.
  • Properties up to $1.5mil TIV Property Coverage and $1mil Occurrence/$2mil Aggregate General Liability Coverage.
  • All construction types: Frame, Joisted Masonry, Non-Combustible, Masonry Non-Combustible, Modified Fire Resistive, Fire Resistive.
  • Building Types: Single Family Dwelling, Two Family (Duplex), Three Family (Tri-plex), Four Family (Four-plex), Multi-Family.
Who the insurance is NOT for?
  • Short-term rental or vacation rental properties.
  • Properties under construction or undergoing significant renovations.
    FLIProtect Builders Risk insurance
  • Vacancy beyond 60 consecutive days.
  • Mobile, manufactured, or modular homes.
  • Owner occupied homes.
  • Student housing, such as fraternities or sororities.
  • Locations on any barrier island (Long Island and Staten Island are not considered barrier islands).
  • Locations with protections classes 9 or 10.
